Alana Castro de Azevedo is a PhD candidate at the Department of Social Science, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Federal University of Paraná, in Brazil, and a master’s degree in cultural landscapes management through the Erasmus Mundus+ JMD DYCLAM.
