Rusudan Mirzikashvili is a PhD candidate at Newcastle University, the UK. She studied Architecture at the Tbilisi State Academy of fine Arts, and got postgraduate degrees in Conservation of Monuments and Sites (University of Leuven) and in World Heritage Management (University College Dublin). Her research focuses on historical landscapes, community-led local development and participatory governance.
